Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that the Olympics is in full swing, and the people watching from the stands are eating a LOT of food. A lot of food is going to waste too. Enter Massimo Bottura, a chef.
He is working hard to provide the homeless people living in Rio with leftover food. He and his team are producing over 5,000 meals a day. This is from food which would have been thrown out if he did not get involved.
The project is going to continue beyond the Olympics too! Chefs in Rio are going to be trained on how to cook meals from leftover food.
